Data Directly into GIS Systems

technology will bridge the gap between activities which have
historically operated independently of one another.
“Currently, many
electric utilities are duplicating their efforts,” said Larry Durke,

“The engineering department generates a design, then the GIS
department redraws the entire design in the GIS system.
Now, with this interface, the entire design, including the land
base, can be imported directly from ADDS into the GIS system.” KEMA
