Roussey Companies and Miner & Miner Join Forces to Provide Powerful Design Applications to Electric Utilities

Exton, Pennsylvania
Roussey Companies and Miner & Miner have begun collaboration efforts to integrate Roussey’s ADDS product and Miner & Miner’s Designer 8 product. Roussey’s ADDS product performs fast and efficient URD (Underground Residential Distribution) design for the electric utility market, and Miner & Miner’s Designer facilitates all types of job planning and network design, based on the ESRI ArcGIS technology. The two companies have been working together to provide a seamless data migration technology, allowing engineered solutions provided by ADDS, to import directly into Miner & Miner’s Designer product.

Western Underground Conference
Roussey Companies will be presenting the ADDS URD design optimization solution at the Western Underground Conference in Pleasanton, California on May 17, 2001.

ADDS Presentation
In early March, Roussey Companies will be presenting the ADDS URD design solution at Tech Day 2001.  The session is titled "Cost Effective URD Design Optimization Software" and will be presented during the TechAdvantage Expo in St. Louis.

Roussey Companies has just completed work on a demo CD that is available upon request.  The CD provides information about ADDS URD design optimization software.

Integration Initiative With ADDS and ArcFM

Roussey Companies is pleased to announce an integration initiative with Miner and Miner of Fort Collins, Colorado.  This collaboration takes ADDS design results and imports them into ArcFM and Designer.

Demand For New Construction

The US Census Bureau has released results from the 2000 Census.  Indications are that the US population is now at 281,421,906, an increase of 33,399,123 people since 1990.  This increase of 13.2 percent has influenced the housing market and fueled the demand for new construction.
