October 1, 2000 -- Detroit Edison has selected ADDS as its URD design application. The Michigan-based utility selected ADDS after looking at all the options and determining that ADDS is the best URD optimization program available. Detroit Edison’s goals include the following:

• Driving down the cost of creating a design while increasing customer satisfaction
• Enabling less technically oriented personnel to successfully perform URD design
• Optimize use of equipment resulting in lower capital expense to install as well as reducing O&M costs
• Provide construction crews with improved construction sketches and information
• Integrate ADDS with Work Management and Estimating

Detroit Edison will add to the already growing number of 50,000 housing units designed with ADDS over the last seven years.
